Bluff, Dec. 8. The s.s., Arawata left Melbourne at 4,30 p.m., on Dec. 2 ; arrived at Hobartown at 7a.m., left at 2 p.m.,; experienced fine weather until midday yesterday; then experienced strong head winds till arrival at 5 a.ra., this morning. She sails at 5 p.m., for Dunedin. Saloon passengers for Bluff:—Messrs. Gardner, Perry, Boss, Mr and Mrs Dickinson, and 2 children, and “ Stray Leaves combination troupe ”; 63 tons cargo, and 8 steerage. For Dunedin Messrs Morris, and Foy, Mesdames Burnett and 3 children, Conway and 8 children, Morris and 4 children; Messrs Hughes,|Smith, Solomon, Clieve, Lyttelton, Moss and 27 steerage; 93 tons cargo. For Lyttelton: Mrs and Miss Mason Messrs, Cuff, Tomkins, Good, Callender (2), Meares, Duncan, 9 steerage, 43 tons cargo. For Wellington—Messrs Boss, Howe, Larkworthy, Misses Boss (2), Mesdames Howe, Lawson and 14 steerage. 105 tons cargo. For Napier—Mr and Mrs Nairn, and family (2) nurses. For Auckland —Mr Potter; 18 tons cargo.
