TENDERS will be received at the office of the Board until noon of TUESDAY, 15th FEBRUARY, 1876, for Contract No.' 3, Erection of 2220 feet of new Wharfage; also, Erection of Additional Row of Piling, Decking, &c., to 500 feet of Cross Wharf. Plans, specifications, and further information may be seen and obtained at the Engineer’s office. The Board are willing to receive alternative tenders for constructing the above new wharfage in concrete In accordance with a resolution of the Board, tenderers will prepare their own plans and specifications and submit them for the approval of the Board, and will be required to guarantee the sufficiency of their work for a period of three years from, date of completion. Tenderers will forward with their tenders a deposit equal to one per cent on the amount of their tender, to be forfeited in case of failure in taking up contract if accepted. Particulars and data as to depth of dredging, reclamation, and other requirements of plans of proposed harbour improvements, sanctioned by His Excellency the Governor in Council, may be obtained on application at the office of the Board’s Engineer. E RESIT TENDERS will be received at the office of the Secretary for Works, Dunedin, until noon on Friday, the 28th instant, for the CONVEYANCE of the following ROLLING-STOCK from Bluff Harbor to Sydney : 3 locomotive engines, 2 guards’ vans, 8 passenger carriages, 5 covered wagons, 6 high-sided wagons, 29 low-sided wagons, 12 platform wagons, 2 wagon traversers, 1 5-ton travelling crane,- 1 wagon weighbridge, duplicate parts of rolling-stock. The rolling stock- will be packed and delivered alongside the vessel at the Bluff Wharf. The specification and form of charter-party can be seen at the General Manager’s Office, Dunedin, and Traffic Manager’s Office, Invercargill.
