A Disclaimer.
(To the Editor Samoa Times.) Sir,—l understand that it is generally, believed that lam the author of an article, entitled a "South Sea Muddle," that appeared in Truth" of May 23rd. I. wish to state that this is not so; neither did I suppfy formation to "Truth." The receipt of the paper was my first intimation that such an* ; article had been Written, and I am not aware of the identity: of the writer. While lam in sympathy with much of the criticism contained, I am not in sympathy with personal attacks on individuals.—l am etc G. E.3L Westbrook, Apia, August 8.
