Out in the Atlantic, John W. Miller, one of tbe crew of the freight steamer Weft Noranus, lay seriously ill with pueumonia. Captain Look, oi the U S. Lines steamer President Gai field, receiving a wireless message lrom the captaiu ol tbe West Noranus, went 100 miles out ol his course, picktd up the sick man, and brought him to London. Thanks to the prompt response ot Captain Look, and the careful attention of Dr. Copher, surgeon on the President Garfield, Miller was soon making a good recovery in a London hospital.

Apia Protestant Church, Divine Service is conducted every Sunday evening at 7.30. On the first and third Sunday evening, a Free Church form of Service is used; on the second and fourth Sunday, the Church of England liturgy is used. The Lord's Supper is observed on the First Sunday Evening of the month. Seats free i, all Residents and Visitors are heartily welcome.
