Teams picked respectively by captainarid vice-captain of Nomad C.C. met last Saturday, at the pilot station, and after a keen contest the vicecaptain's men won by nine runs. For the third Saturday in succession, Cathie and Pettitt made top scores for their side, and again saved the tuatch. Railey (33) batted well for the losers and also distinguished himself by making a very fine catch. Alexander also was "nippy" in the field, catching-out three men. Mechana and Tqbiu (each 15) batted well for the losers, and also bowled well, as did Carlton. For the winners, Capper did the "hat trick," and got an average of six for 28.
