Whilst fishing between Sigatoka and Naqueriqueri, with home-made tin spinners, Messrs; Michael and Evetts had an extraordinary catch on Friday last, which totalled 300lb. of fish in all. Included in the haul were two oqa, weighing solb. and 351 D. respectively; two walu, scaling aslb each; and a sword fish iiolb. in weight. This fish measured as much as 9ft.; the sWord, from-its base to its tip, was aft, 3iu. in length, and the tail measured aft. loin. iro;u tip to tip.—"Pacific Age."
