The Late Mrs Carl Geissler.
The late Mrs Carl Geissler, whose death occurred at Warkworth recently, was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs J. Eehbein, of Bremen, Germany, and was born in 1869. After passing with honours through Dr. Kippenberg's Teachers' Training College for Women, deceased before her marriage in 1900, followed the teaching profession. She was also a trained nurse and an accomplished linguist, speaking Spanish and French fluently, and possessed a sound knowledge of English. She was a great lover of flowers and a keen gardener. In .19.12 Mrs G-eissler accompanied her husband to New Zealand, and three months after their arrival settled in Warkworth.
