HUSH!
Mrs. Smith was talking with a visitor, when her little son came in, and forgot to remove his cap. To admonish him she said: "Francis, what did I buy that hat stand for?"
"Half a crown," replied Francis, sharply, "but you said I wasn't to tell anybody."
