The America Cap races will be held, the first on 15tfi July, the second on the 17th and the third on the 20th. The Resolute and the Shamrock IV. are being measured for the purpose of determining what time allowances shall be made to the smaller vessel. It is unofficially estimated that the Resolute will obtain (% minutes allowance. Sir Thomas Lipton made the statement“ The weight of the challenger is the magic key wherewith I hope to achieve my lifelong ambition of winning the America Cap. Only the race will tell whether it, is right, but whether I win or losri, my admiration for the American people will remain, as* I never forget their many kindnesses to me.’’
