NEW MARKETING SCHEME. Per Press Association. Hawera, July 10 A representative meeting of those interested in the dairy industry, after a lengthy discussion on the Go-operative Wholesale Society scheme, passed a resolution as follows This meeting of producers considers that it would be serving their interests best if the committee of'the marketing scheme set up at Palmerston" North establish it on the following linos:—Firstly, to get the National Dairy Association const! iution altered so that it can establish a Selling Board in London ; secondly, that the Selling Board should consist of three of the best men who can ha procured in England, men who have been in the marketing business all their lives, and also Messrs Ellison and Brash, Chose men to give the whole of their services to the National Dairy As> sociation, and he in no way connected with any other firm or company ; thirdly, "that arrangements be made with the Bank of New Zealand for companies to finahce their produce from the port of shipment until it is sold on the London market.
