June 15 * Mias Grace Palotta, described as of Domain Road, South Yarra. and Miss Edith Yates, of Mayfield Avenue, West Baling, London,-have each been left 2500 guineas under a codicil of the will of the late Dr Wilberforco Vaughan Eaves, formerly of University College Gower Street, London, and of “Roany, ” Testar Grove, Caulfield, The testator mentions that he has valued the friendship of these ladies, and that they are in need of the money. To Dr Bruce Hamilton, of Bspopstead, London, he bequeathed 600 guineas and two-thirds of his interest in a plantation in Dominica, West Indies. Dr Eaves, who was a bachelor, died on February 10th. By bis will dated May 25th, 1891, besides estate elsewhere, he bequeathed £6560 in real property, and £7717 in personalty in Victoria to his mother and brother. The bequests mentioned in the codicil, and some smaller legacies, are chargeable against these dispositions.
