GENERAL BIRDWOOD.
Per Press Association Blenheim. Jane 25 Birdwood arrived at Blenheim to-day. He received a civic reception at His Majesty’s Theatre where there was a large attendance, including returned soldiers. Addresses were delivered by the Mayor and President of the Returned Soldiers’ Glob. He requested s holiday on Monday for all the schools of the district.
