HUNTERVILLE NOTES.

From Oar Own Correspondent. Hunterville Bowling Club held their fortnightly enchre party in the Argylo Hall last evening and in spite of the inclement weather there was a fair attendance. The ladies prize was won by Miss Rhoda Wilson, gent’s by Mr G Spindler, boobies prizes by Mrs Lyall and Mr J Horne. The priazs were donated by Mr B J Thompson At the Magistrate’s Court, before Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., two first offenders were charged with being on licensed premises during prohibited hours and were convicted and fined £l. Judgment was entered for plaintiff in the case of R J Golman v. Clarence Tobek, claim £6 18s 3d, with costs £1 3s 6d. In the judgment summons cases, H Street and Son v J Wills, defendant was ordered to pay £ll 13s 6d hy July 2nd in default seven days; and in case of W Hodgson v Keene Paranahi, debtor was ordered to pay £l2 8s and costa 10s 6d on or before July 2nd, in default seven days.
