WESTFIELD STOCK MARKET. Prices for beefcat the Westfield fat stock sales on Wednesday showed an improvement as compared with last week’s rates. The advance was chiefly in respect to choice ox and prime beef, which realised from £2 8s to£2 14s per 1001 b, an increase tf about 2a per 1001 b. Ordinary quality beef fetched from £2 Is to £2 6s. Sheep prices also showed an advance as compared with the previous week’s prices. Wethers fetched from £1 loa to £2 9s, ewes £1 6s to £1 18s 6d, lambs £1 3s 6d to £1 14s 6d. There was keen competition for the pigs offered, baconers and choppers realising from £5 10s to £B.
