LEAGUE FIXTURES AUCKLAND, Last Night.

At a meeting of the New Zealand Council of the Rugby League to-night, it was decided that the following matches be played in the Dominion by the English League team: —July 24, versus Auckland, at Auckland; July 31, versus New Zealand, at Auckland; August 4, versus North Island, at Napier; August 7 or 9, versus New 'Zealand, at Christchurch; August 11, versus West Coast districts, at Greymouth; August 13, versus New Zealand, at Wellington. The team will leave Sydney on July 15. |ALL BLACKS fTO VISIT aa; PALMERSTON WELLINGTON, Last Night. The management committee of the New Zealand Rugby Union met last night. The South Island country team will play against Wairarapa at Carterton, instead of Masterton, and the date altered from August 4th to the sth. The first and second rounds for North Island schools’ tournament are as folio ws:—Te Ante v. Gisborne, at Gisborne; Napier High School' v. Maori Agricultural College, at Napier; the winners of these two matches to play at Hastings. Palmerston North High School v. New Plymouth High School, at New Plymouth; Scot’s College v. St. Patrick’s College, at Wellington; the winners of two matches to play at Palmerston North. Auckland Grammar School v. King's Colleg'e, at Auckland; Sacred Heart College v. Hamilton High School, at Hamilton: the winners of these two matches to play at Auckland. The New Zealand team which is to tour Australia, will play a match in Palmerston on July 14th, and will sail for Australia on the 15th. JUNIOR REP. MATCH. RANGITIKEI v HOROWHENUA. This match takes place at Levin to-morrow, and the secretary of Rangitikei Sab-Union, Mr Stanley H Hunt, has made complete arrangements for the team to travel. Care .will leave Balls at 10 a.m sharp and the manager of the team, Mr Jack Richardson, will be in attendance, arranging allocation of seats. The team as originally selected stands. On the last occasion on which these teams met Rangitikei were victors by 12 points to nil. The game tomorrow promises to be very exciting, Horowhenna being determined to retrieve lost lanrels, and Rangitikei are equally resolved to hold them.
