SHOOTING.

The final for the best three shoots out of seven for the gold medal presented by Mr BO G'flisfoxd for the winner, and lor two silver medal#, presented by Messrs J .) Mansell and A Phillips for the second and third place, was fired on Tuesday nigh*. The competition was of the boys belonging to the Miniature Rifle Club, and the winner was Master Terry Mansell, with the tine score of ISS, closely followed by Master Don Hart with IS4, and Master Henry Hosting was third with 173. Mr Chilcoob lias donated 80s for trophies for the hoys to be fired under the same conditions. The thunks of the Club go forth tc the donors of all these trophies. A teams match, Ohakea v Bulls, will be fired next Tuesday night and a good contest should bo the result.
