FACTORY CHEESE. CARRINGTQiN" "CAKES CHAMPIONSHIP. The Judges considered that the general appearance and get up of the cheese exhibits left room for some improvement. More care should be exercised by some of the managers to finish off the cheese more neatly and also to see that the timber is absolutely dry before crating the cheese. The quality, generally speaking, was uniformly good, and the winning exhibits left very little to be desired. A very pleasing feature was the close and even body and texture. The results are as under: Class 8. —Best case full cream. N.Z., Cheddar-shaped cheese, suitable for export, coloured.
