The Plnral Socialists refuse to support the Government and therefore it is doubtful whether the Democrats can form a Ministry. The aituation ia also move acute, owing to a conflict between the Centre aud the People's Party. The latter claim the portfolios of Finance, Post and Telegraph and Food, which the Centre holds. The Comrnunjqts held a "ecrefc meeting and agreed to a general strike after the Reichstag assembles on Thursday, and also passed a resolution in favour of armixig the workers. Serious rioting occurred at Oscav bruck, Krefeld and Frankfort, The > mobs being incensed owing to the high prices raided shops and seized I and sold goods. Other traders j hastily reduced prices.
