London, June 22 At the Wimbledon tennis tournament in the second round Laurentz beat Raymond; Brngnan beat Gore; Beamish beat Milford; Shimidzu beat Lowe; Williams beat Oonstead; Davison beat Dixon; Gobert beat Owen. Additional first round winner: Doust. Patterson interviewed, said Johnston's defeat adds new interest to the ohampionship inasmuch as it is now much more doubtful who will be the challenger. Patterson has not yet seen all the players, and is unable to suggest the likeliest opponent. Second round: Mavrogordato beat Fisher; Lycett beat" Sir Q A Thomas ; Zerlendi beat Malaastrom.
