It was found impossible to adhere to the previous Hythe arrangement under which France was given priority in receiving the first largo payment of the German indemnity. • This is now held to he impracticable and unworkable. Paris, June 13 Le Temps learns that the French proposal stipulates that the German indemnity shall be paid in thirtyseven annual instalments of a minimum of three milliard gold marks, plus additions, making the total over 120 milliard's.
