THIRD CLASS. MARTON v BULLS The above match was played on Marton Park yesterday afternoon, Marton being defeated by 15 points to nil. When the game commenced Marton onlv bad pen players and after the first twenty minutes play three spectators wand red on to the field to give them a hand, but &oou retired. From the luck off Marton rushed plav on to Bulls' line and looked dangerous but a good line kick relieved, and play returned to niidn'eld. Neither side gained much advantage for the first fifteen minutes till Bulls forwards started a rush, ending in Armstrong scoring. On resuming the Bulls backs started a passing; rush which enabled Marsden to cross the line. Play was mostly in midfield for a while whan Bulls again broke through and from a mark in front of goal Holmes kicked a goal, the first spoil ending Bulls 9, Marton 0.

Although Bulls scored two more trios in the second speil, the game was even and with a bit of luck Marton would nave scored. From a piece of loose play in Marton's 25's '.Rogders secured and sorod near the goal, but the kick failed. From the kick off Marton forwards took up the offensive and Bulls were compelled JO force. JUNIOR'S. BULLS v MARTON The above Juniors met on the Polo ground at Bulls yesterday before a large crowd who were provided with a fast and interesting exhibition of the game. The teams were fairly evenly matched. Bulls were first to register a score, Robbie with a great burst of speed shot along the blind side, beat a couple of backs, and scored a fine try. Gilford's kick failed. Marton then made a rally, and a brilliant passing ru'di from the half to the wing Uireequarter resulted in A Blair scorins; in the corner, amidst great applause.
