STOCK REPORT. Loan and Mercantile Agency Co, Ltd, report: At Palmarston North on Thursday we had a moderate yarding of sheep and a small entry of cattle. Kidding was dull but all sheep changed hands at prices in favour of purchasers We quote:— Lambß los, cnll lambs 8s 3d, fat ewes 30s, f. f ewes 245, ewes r. w S.D rams 255, store ewes 20s. Abraham and Williams report haviDg held a successful clearing sale on account of Mr A Currie, Valley Road, Coiyton, on 29th April. Them was a large attendance of buyers present. The following prices were realised:—6th to 4yr ewos r. w Sonthdowa rams 30s 6d, 2, 4, Ofch and iyr ewes r. w with Romney rams 3?s 6d, fat and forward ewes 21s 9d, fat 2th 26s 6d, lambs 20s, horseu: bay mare 7yrs £35, bay gelding syrs £3B, bay mare 3yra £2O, dairy cows £l2 to £25 sa, dairy hefers £l4. Sundries, implements and furniture also sold well.
