Lord Robert Cecil suggested that the Premier urge the Council of the League of Nations to deal as quickly as possible with the question of defining the terms of the mandates for the ex-German Colonies. Mr Lloyd George pointed out that the Covenant of the League provided that the terms of the mandates shall be defined by the Council, if not previously agreed to by the members of the League, He stated that Government is earnestly giving its attention to the whole matter and hoped soon to be able to gave information.
