Wellington, March 32 As a result of recent discussion by the Board of Agriculture in conjunction with invited delegates from different interests in the question of frozen meat and shipping it was ar ranged that a farther and larger con Terence should be held at an early date and the Earner:?’ Union, Agricultural and Pastoral Associations, Sheepowners Union freezing companies and dairy .’associations were invited to select delegates to attend this conference. Ic had been anticipated that it would be held before Easter, bat circumstances have arisen whic i necessitate its postponement until after the Easter holidays. One impor:ant .matter for discussion is the question of shipping conditions and freight wneu the time comes for Dominion produce to be sold in the open market The shipping companies were communicated with but owing to the position not yet being clear are not able to furnish the information necessary to enable the proposed discussion of these points to be carried out to the best advantage, They have, however, intimated that they will oommnnicate further as soon as they are in a position to do so,
