DANDIES OF 1920. On Monday evening nest at at "the Town Hall Marton, the Dandies of 1920, Mr Edward Branocombe’s latest company will appear under the direction of Mr John Hopkins. For this year’s tour Mr Hopkins has secured four new English artists, and these, together with some old favourites, form one of the strongest companies that has yet toured the Dominion. Principal among the newcomers is Mr George Sharratt, character comedian and producer. Mr Sharratt has had considerable experience in the Dandies class of work in England, and he comes with an excellent reputation. Miss Annette Lang is another newcomer, and she is a soubrette and dancer of great ability. Miss Rosa Walton is a pianiste and monologue entertainer who has been highly praised, and. Mr Raymond Nicholson is a lyric tenor and light comedian. The specially retained artists are the Misses Madeline Knight and Christina Andrews, and Messrs Renn Millar and Kennedy Black. The programme to he presented is entirely new to local audiences. Seats may be reserved without extra fee at Mogridge’s. The Dandies of 1920 will appear at Huaterville to-morrow night.
