STRATFORD ELECTION PETITION.

Per Press Association Stratford, March 16 On resumption this morning of the Election Court much time was occupied in argument regarding a further scrutiny. Mr Myeru asked for a scrutiny, but Sir K. Stout contended that the scrutiny asked for of the counterfoils of the ballot papers would nut prove Mr Myer’s case. The Court will give a decision later bn the point. A list ot 16 persons was then pat in as admitted being aliens. An officer of the Government Statistician’s at Opunake then produced record cards proving that some voters who voted were aliens.
