Invitation holders are reminded that the Marton Tennis Club’s Flannel Dance will be held in-the Druids’ Hall next Thursday evening. Messrs Wardoll Bros, and Co., Wellington, on page 3 publisii a special notice to farmers, householders and others.
Messrs Kofe and Gordon, motor experts, Marton, on page 6 have a new announcement relating to agency and arrival of Fords. Mr Hewitt, Feilding, has an express and dog cart for sale. Mr G. Mace, Marton, wants lady’s and gentleman’s bicycles. Mr P. Stevens advertises clearing sale for Mr Geo. Signal, * Marton, March 23rd.
Messrs Levin and Co. notify the saiilng of the Athenic on 31st March. Tenders are invited' for painting Mr W. T. Galpin’s residence, Tutaenui Road, Marton. Farmers’ Distributing Co. announce a clearing sale for Mr Lovelook on April 16th. -- The funeral of Mr John Follett will leave Salvation Army Barracks, Marton, at 3.30 p.m. to-morrow for S. Stephen’s Cemetery, Mt. Yiew. Members of. Court Littlejohn are requested to attend the funeral of Bro, J. Follett, which takes place to-morrow.
