The public schools of Feilding and surrounding district held their first sports gathering at Feilding on Saturday. The. most prominent competitor was A. Sanson, an Ohakea pupil, who won all the events he entered for. Other successful district competitors were:—Separate Schools boys’ races—Pearce 1, Farmer, Oolyton, 2. Under 14: A Sanson, 50 yards boys under 9. Thurston, Colytou. 100 Yards Championsnip: A Sanson. 75 yards hoys under 11: Knight, Oolyton, 1, Williams, Cheltenham, 3. 100 yards under 14 A Sanson. High jump, open: A Sanson 1, Buckman, Umutoi, 2, Allerby, Oolyton, 3. High jump, under 13* Bnckman. 120 yards hurdles championship : A Sanson 1, Anderson, Halcombe 3, Backman 3.
