IRISH TROUBLE.
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. London, March 13. There are disquieting developments at Cork in consequence of frequent shootings. Armed men waylaid throe constables returning to suburban barracks late in the evening during a storm. Several shots were fired. Constable Scnlly was killed. At a meeting of Cork Corporation, the Lord Mayor and others expressed disapproval of police entering clnbs and houses and firing rifles in streets. They declared that citizens were compelled to take steps for self-pre-servation. The police raided De Valera’s house at Greystones, in County Wickiow, but made no arrests. De Valera remains in the United States.
