POOR PROSPECTS QP AUSTRALIAN VISIT. Loudon, March 8. The National Rifle Association says it is difficult to arrange for a team to visit Australia, especially in regard to finances. The estimated expenses are at least £4OOO, compared with £ISOO before the war. It is also a difficult matter to select a team. The association wishes to send young* men as the heat seriously affected the veterans on the JTpst visit, but few young shots can api?sd to leave their businesses months. The response to the appeal is so far very poor. The association is doing its utmost to stir the public, and if the response is satisfactory it will send a team, even if it is composed of veterans, but at present the prospect is not very hopeful.
