Since Mr Edward Branscomhe first introduced costume comedy companies to Australasia* companies bearing his name have come to be looked upon as the very pinnacle of such entertainment —clean humor, clever satire, the best of singing, and novel concerted numbers. , The whole, skilfully blended, have always been popular, and this season’s company, “The Dandies of 1920,” is said to be a more than usually good combination. The new artists include Mr George Sharratt, character comedian; Miss Annette Lang, soubrette and dancer; Misali Rosa Walton, pianist and monologue entertainer; Mr Raymond Nicholson, tenor and light comedian.
