' THE DANDIES OF 1930. This company will appear at Marton Town Hall, on Monday, March 23nd. Since Mr Edward Branscomhe first introduced costume comedy companies to Australasia* companies bearing his name have come to be looked upon as the very pinnacle of such entertainment —clean humor, clever satire, the best of singing, and novel concerted numbers. , The whole, skilfully blended, have always been popular, and this season’s company, “The Dandies of 1920,” is said to be a more than usually good combination. The new artists include Mr George Sharratt, character comedian; Miss Annette Lang, soubrette and dancer; Misali Rosa Walton, pianist and monologue entertainer; Mr Raymond Nicholson, tenor and light comedian. Among specially retained favourites from former tours, who will all render new numbers, are the Misses Madeline Knight and Christina Andrews, and Messrs Ronn Millar and Kennedy I Black.
