SIR, —Re maintenance cuae on Thursday in Marton Court, I absolutely dens' that I could not get work What I stated was that I « could not pay because I had an order from the Magistrate for my belongings, which tlioy refused to give me, and having to buy things which are necessary for me to have, with a few wet days, I could not do it. —I am, etc., L.
