United States Grain Commissioner Barnes has announced that he will sell live million barrels of flour on credit to Austria, Poland and Hungary unless Congress speedily appropriates fifty million dollars fftr the relief of these countries. There are no fresh developments in the bread situation at Wellington. The bakers hope to see the Premier to-day, and expect delegates from different parts of the Dominion on Wednesday for a conference. Meanwhile the advanced prices are , being maintained, and no drastic j action will be taken unless the new | prices are gazetted. 1
