WEDDING.

A very pretty wedding was solemnised at the residence of Mr and Mrs Dunham, of Bata, when their youngest daughter, Margery Emma, was united in the bonds of Holy Matrimony to Mr William Innes, of the Puturino Soldier Settlement. The Rev. Evans, of Hunterville, was the officiating clergyman. The bride who waa given away by her father, looked charming in a dainty dress of pale - pink crepe de chine, with the usual veil and orange blossom, and carried a lovely shower bouquet. She was attended by Miss J. Williamson, of Palmerston North, and Miss G, Follett as bridesmaids, and the bridegroom was attended by Mr O. Mayo, of Christchurch, as best man, and Mr A. Dunham as groomsman. After the ceremony the -company adjourned to the Rata Hall, where the wedding breakfast was laid, and about 80 guests sat down to do justice to the good things provided. At the conclusion of this the -happy couple motored to Marton to -connect with express for New Plymouth, at which place the honeymoon is to bo spent. They were recipients of numerous handsome and costly presents. In the evening Mr and Mrs Dunham gave a dance to the visiting guests and the residents of Rata, and a very enjoyable evening was spent.
