AT a Special Meeting of the Rangitikei County Council held on- the 28th day of February, 1920, a resolution was passed by way of Special Order authorising the raising under the provisions of Bodies Loans 1913,” of a Special Loan of £ 13,000 for the purpose of widening and of metalling for the first time portions of the Upper Turakina Valley and Okaka Roads and proposing to levy a Special Rate within the Upper Turakina Valley Special Rating District as security for the said loan. .
