A VALUABLE FIND.

Wairoa, March 3 A local settler of this county, when looking for limestone', found a largo deposit of sulphate of .calicum or gypsum. Several samples were analysed, and gave a return of 71.93 of sulphate. A plant is to be put in almost immediately to work tbe peposit, for which there is a considerable demand. Probably a company will be formed. The .find is within fifteen chains of a .metalled road and pccessible to motor traffic
