People’s Day at Now Plymouth Show was favoured by beautiful .weather and there was a record attendance, Championships in the horse sections are as follow Harness Horse : G H Short’s Handsome Lad Hack; R D Glimie’s Sandy Harness Pony: Mrs J E Ander’s Micky Pony ; E George’s Dot The champion hunters’ competition for £SO and challenge cup, was won by Olimie’s Sandy, W G Simpson’s Mac second, and J J Bryce’s Twilight third, • Pony Jumping: J Bretherton’s Sunbeam 1, O Patterson’s Nimrod 2, James’s Flora 3 High Jumping : E Mason’s Echo, the only competitor, cleared 4ft lO.n Jumping, steeplechase style; W J Simpson’s Mac 1, J J Bryce’s Twilight 2, A G Wood’s Whakamoa 3.
