WOOL SALES.
Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received a cablegram from their London Office, under date 27th February, as follows:—Wool sales closed very firm for wools of line quality; for coarse wools prices are irregular, Home Trade, American and French buyers are buying freely. As compared with last sale’s closing rates best greasy Merino combing wools are from 5 to 10 per cent higher, grea«y Merino wools of other descriptions par to 5 per cent higher, scoured* Merino combing par to 5 per cent higher, short faulty scoured wools unchanged, fine crossbred wools unchanged, medium crossbred wools par to 5 per cent lower, coarse crossbred wools neglected, and slipe crossbred wools per cent lower.
