LADIES' REST ROOM. The Women's Auxiliary of the Clifton Social Institute, Bulls, opened the Ladies' Rest Room on Monday, and ic was much appreciated by a large number of country visitors. Many new members were enrolled. There are aireadv over 50 In future the rooms will ha open every sale clay, and it is felt that ladies from the surrounding country will find this very convenient. The rooms were made attractive with bowls of roses and iris and a number of the . I »4es'; magazines. Games and music vtt > indulged in during the afternoon. The Society has received many donations towards the furnishing of the Hall, one of tho latest being a handsome sideboard donated by Mrs C Broughton. A quantity of games equipment has just come to hand from Mr Taylor of the' Y.M.0.A., Wanganui.
