From Our Own Correspondent. St. Andrew's Flower, Show on Monday was a geat success, both as a Show and as to finance, the takings being £135, and the , expenses only £23. The steep guessing was won by Master Hal3ey Mansell with 1281b8., ■the correct weight being 128>£lbs. The Challenge Trophy in Domestic Clauses was won by Miss A. Mansell, with 30 points. On ISTonday afternoon there was a further meeting of the Bowling Club to report progress and it was found that 32 members had signed up. It was decided to go on with the work as soon as 40 members had signed on. Messrs G. H. Archer, W. Carruthers, A. E. Eglinton, J. B. Gaisford, J. T. McKelvie, J. H. Perrett, T. Richardson, J. Tricker, J. E. Walker, and J. Whisker were elected as the standing committee, and Mr J. T. McKelvie was elected chairman. Messrs G. Archer, W. Carruthers, J. Gaisford, J. Tricker, J. Walker and J. Whisker were elected as a grand committee with power to act, and the meeting authorised that an account be opened with the Bank of New Zealand, and that the treasurer and secretary be empowered to operate. On Monday evening there was a meeting of the Tennis Club Committee, and it was decided to hasre both the old tennis courts top dressed with tar and sand, and that the courts be closed on Thursday till they are finished and dry.
