BULLS NOTES.
From Our Own Correspondent. There was not a very large attendance at the Bowling Club’s meeting on Saturday, and the election ot officers was postponed. There were present: Messrs J. McKelvie (in the chair), Archer, Carruthere, J. B. Gaisford, Levett, Perrett, T. Richardson, Tricker, and J. E. Walker. A committee of all present and A. K. Drew was formed to ascertain cost of laying down the green, building sheds, fencing, water supply, implements, caretaker’s salary, etc, to report within a fortnight so that the Club might know what finance at will require. Different members were elected to the various works for which estimates were required and Mr Saywell, from Feilding, is to he asked to report as soon as the levels are taken and meet the com • mittee. No tenders were received for purchase ot the house. The members then adjourned to the proposed green and viewed the house with the idea of turning it into a pavilion tor the Club, for which purpose parts of it should be suitable and part tor a tool house.
