Abraham and Williams report:— At our Feilding sale on 24th we had a heavy yarding of both sheep and cattle, and quitted the bulk of the entry at satisfactory prices. We quote;—Sheep: Four-tooth wethers £2 3s, small 32s 3d, hoggets 25s 8d to Bus 7d, ewes and lambs poor 265, empty ewes BOs 6d to 37s 9d, culls 14s, fat wethers shorn 335, fat ewes woolly £2 4s 3d, fat hoggets 80s 7d. At Palmerston on 33rd inst. we had a good yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was a good atteendance of buyers, both sheep and cattle selling well. We quote the following prices Sheep, ewes and rams £2 Bs 6d to £2 11s 6d, empty ewes £1 2s 6d to 25s 3d, hoggets 27s 6d to 38s 9d.
