LOST NOSE REPLACED.

FINE WORK BY A SURGEON. A stableman, William Robertson, was discharged from the King Ed* ward YII. Hospital, Windsor, recently, whose nose had been cut off in an accident, and had been successfully replaced by a surgeon. “I was in a stable at Windsor on August loth,” said Robertson, “when a skylight fell and cut my nose clean off. I was taken to the King Edward YII. Hospital, where the arteries were tied up. ‘‘The surgeon then asked, ‘Where is the missing nose?’ The son of a doctor cycled to the stable and made a search, finding my nose amongst the straw. It was brought back to the hospital, and an operation performed to replace it. My nose was off for three-quarters of an hour to an hour. ” Asked how he felt, Robertson replied, smilingly, “Everything is going on satisfactorily, and my nose is on all right, as you can see.”
