ABSORBING DISABLED SOLDIERS.
-■United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. Received Oct. 24, 2 p.m. London, Oct. 22. Employers are satisfactorily responding to the King’s appeal to absorb the disabled soldiers. Five thousand have been employed and fifty thousand are waiting. An additional fifty thousand are still in hospital. Five thousand employers ihave already agreed that the offer to workers shall include a minimum of 5 per cent, of disabled men.
