The Niagara arrived at Auckland at 6.15 last evening from Vancouver. A representative gathering of railway servants in Wellington, with district officers of the Department from all over the Dominion, met at the railway bead office last night to farewell Mr Hiley, lately General Manager. Mr McVilly, the new General Manager, presided. The Hon, Herries presented Mr Hiley with three albums of New Zealand views, and a handsome writing cabinet of New Zealand woods, the whole being a farewell gift from the railway service.
