TAXI DRIVERS’ WAGES.

Per Press Association. Christchurch, May 2. At the Conciliation Council a settlement of the taxi drivers’ dispute was arrived at. Wages are to £3 10s a week, an increase of 12s 6d on the present rate. The hours are to remain as at present at CO for a short week and 70 for a long week, or ten hours a day. Overtime to be paid for at Is Od per hour instead of Is 2d as under the present award.
