Wire cutting continues in several districts. Otherwise all is quiet. All is also qniet at Amen itsar, Lahore and the north-east frontier province of Peshawar Reports show that the movement is essentially Hindu At Delhi the position is qaiet hnt it is reported that Delhi merchants are exercising pressnre on merchants elsewhere by ’ refusing to honour their money remittances, and emissaries from Delhi are stirring np tronble in the Punjab. Bombay is qniet.
