The night proved to bo fine, and the tent was packed with onlookers, who all enjoyed the performance. Miss Mary Ross appeared on her wee performing pony ‘‘Macgregor. ” as the lady equestrian. Miss May Wilson acted the part of the “living statue.” Masters Alec and David Abel made comic clowns, Stanley Abel acted the dual part of “Joe” and “Denny” the comedy violinist. Geoffrey Coleman took the part of “Mick,” the dummy clown. Malcolm Ross made a comic ‘ Ginger, ’ ’ and Cyril Wilson, the ringmaster “Mr Whirley. ” The songs “round the camp lire” were quite picturesque. Altogether the performance reflected great credit upon the various “artists,” and the Boy Scout funds will benefit to the extent of £2 Us. After the performance sapper was dispensed by Mrs Ross in her usual lavish manner. The Rev. and Mrs Grove are passengers by the Athonic for a six months’ holiday in England.
