BULLS NOTES.
Fiona ' ur Own Correspondent, Bulla was well beflagged on Friday afternoon for the return of fonr of the boys from the war, but they did not arrive when expceted. Mr J J Mansell went to Palmerston on his motor bike and brought Yic. Edwards home late in the evening, and the others arrived on Saturday afternoon, viz., Privates Green, Paap ana Vance. Mr N. Wilson brought them down from Greatford in his car. It is hoped that when tbev are ell back tnat we shall have a big day and give them a reception, one that will be worthy of what they have suffered and done for us on the battlefield of the world. May Barney had a narrow escips last week by being run into by a motor car. bnt a bruised head and grazed knees were the only result, and for which she may consider The driver of the car was, it is believed, qni!e free from blame. Talking of cars reminds me that car driveis will have to tske things a bit steady going through Bolls now, as the by-laws are in force and are going to be enforced ana not before time. Notice boards are to be put tip in various parts of the town warning people of the speed limit.
