The Mount Morgan Mining Co., has informed its employees that as a section Eof the men have adopted “go slow” tactics and causeda reduction of the output by 50 per cent, that unless normal productive operations are resumed by the 24th, the management will cease all mm ing and treatment operations. Auckland, Feb 21 At the City Council meeting several speakers expressed strong opposition to the increase of tramfares involved in the Mayor’s scheme for the settlement of the tramway dispute. The Council resolved that negotiations with the Company be continued and referred the matter t° the committee of the whole Council for consideration and report.
